What is your favorite brand of clothing for your DD or DS?

Gymboree!! I'm completely addicted! LOL However, I never pay full price. I only buy used at the thrift store or on super off season sale. I paid less for my sons entire fall/winter wardrobe than I would have at Walmart! And we have all the pieces to 3-4 lines too!! Including jackets and hats that I paid mere dollars for and earned gymbucks too! LOVE Gymboree!

I chose Carter's!

I LOVE Carter's, I can't wait to have extra money so I can drive an hour and 1/2 to the outlet, lol! But in the meantime I get it from Babies R Us or Burlington.

My oldest son(6) wears anything really...my fave for him is TCP though. Especially the jeans. And I like how everything for the older boys is very rugges and boyish looking. I like TCP for all of the kids actually. So that would be vote #2. Both of my boys need adjustable waist. When my oldest was a baby though I was in love with Carter's...when I was pregnant for my second and for a couple years after I was a gymboholic...the boys had matching outfits and everything...I would always get like 5 gymbucks at least lol. Now my 3rd, a girl(9 months), I'm in love with Carter's again! I have a few gymbo outfits for her, and I also like a lot of stuff from Target, when I find for only a couple of bucks each. I barely buy for my second son(3) because he has alot of hand-me-downs from his brother, mostly gymboree. I also like Osh-kosh, Old Navy...lots of stuff!

You need an option that says I don't have a favorite brand. 95% of their clothing is & has always been second hand. It could be anything from Faded Glory to TCP to Hanna Anderson but it was almost always second hand. Now that they are older (DD15 and DS11), she buys most of her own clothing with babysitting money or as a gift for Christmas or birthdays. She tends to buy clothes from Debs or Rockin Willies and always checks the clearance racks first. For my DS, it's still generally second hand. I buy the good brands on clearance at TJ Maxx for jeans if I cannot find them second hand. Tops will be Old Navy, Gap, Nike, etc. I'll take second hand quality clothing over brand new mass retail clothing anytime.

We have a Macy's close by so I chose Ralph Lauren. You can find their stuff under $10 often, but I just do a lot of return and rebuying if I see something cute and pay more. The cashiers have never really minded and EVERYTHING gets cheap eventually. Its great for my son who has a uniform/dresscode (dark pants and polo or oxford shirts) and I even get the blue and green boys polos and sweaters for my daughters uniform. I like that they have all the sizes if I want to match my girls. Their baby clothes are just precious and make nice gifts. Everyone where I live wears Polo so maybe thats why i'm obsessed. All the other stores except maybe Gap and TCP are farther.

I like TCP outlet for accessories and find its worth a trip to the store, since they never have what I want online I get PJ's tights, hair accessories, skirts and shoes there. I just dont like th shirts at TCP. Gap is great but pricey, so I avoid it. Gymbo is too far. ON has been junky but I do get lucky there at times.

My DD1 is tall for her age, and very thin! Bongo Jeans are great because they are longer than most jeans, and the slim cut fits her perfectly!

I choose "other" too...

My girls (9 and 12) when they were little wore mostly Gymboree or Old Navy... but when my ds was born (hes 4 now) we went Tommy Hilfiger... My ds is Thomas (tommy of course is his nick name)... so now my kids are addicted to the TH brand! They love that it says "tommy" on the clothes somewhere... and I love how durable the clothes are...

My husband said he wished he would have known about TH clothes before my son was born, 'cause then he would have named him something else!

I picked "other" because my favorite brands are the ones I can get cheap or free. We're not brand loyal to clothes in our house. With 3 boys, we tear through them so quickly, why bother?

I have a 15 yr old DS and a 17 yr old DD they are both bean poles and its hard to find Jeans to fit them right. Its pretty much Hollister clearance and American Eagle clearance. My kids know to walk directly to the back of the stores where the clearance racks are. They know better to even think about looking at items that are full price. If there are not any deals then they get no clothes that shopping trip. My DD likes to shop at Charlotte Rues and Forever 21 as well. Yeah they are cheap but so is the quality of the clothing. Wash it once and its time to throw it away. But we always manage to find some kind of deal and at least leave with one item.

I choose other because prob. 98% of her clothes are from garage sales or resale shops. And then I tend to barter for lower prices than marked at those places.

My faves to find are baby gap, children's place, and land's end. We also have several items from carter's as there is an outlet not super far from us. I very very rarely buy her new items but when I do it's from the super clearance type sales ( like under 2 dollars) I think I have only bought maybe 5 things her entire life that were brand new from the rack including 2 packets of socks and a pair of tights both of which were on sale.

By the time she was about 6 months old I had enough clothes to last through 3T for less than what most people spend in a season and to the person that said they only have 8 outfits a season OMG how do they do that.. that is crazy no wonder she says the clothes wear out that is wearing the same clothes most likely multiple times a week ... kids get so dirty esp. when they get older and into playing hard with their friends... I average about 75-200 outfits per season and we do her laundry about 1-2 times a week. Granted dd is not quite 1 so maybe that is easier with older kids. I like that we get them so cheap because some of the mom's at the preschool get all crazy about their clothes and them getting dirty ... if we have something ruined oh well I just throw it away if the stains don't come out and am only out like a dollar or maybe 2.

I like Carters stuff because it tends to wear well and if you shop for it at the outlet or Kohls or at Costco, you can get it fairly cheap compared to mall brands. I do like TCP a lot but only buy clearance there really. Same with Gymboree. Just can't afford it. I hit the 99 cent kids clothing sales at Goodwill and pick up some Gymboree, Gap and TCP stuff that way.
