What is your favorite brand of clothing for your DD or DS?

For my 3 year old son: Shaun White (Target Brand), JCPenney, Walmart,
For my 6 month old girl: Carter's, Kohl's, TCP, Gymboree (no local store), Janie & Jack (have to buy online) and I've lately had a new fascination with Toys R' Us.

I got my daughter a HUGE bag full of summer markdowns for $50!

Now that my kids are older they are picky about what they wear. DS 11 wears stuff from Journeys, Hollister and Abercrombie kids. He also likes the Tapout tshirts that I have only been able to find at Kohl's so far.

DD 8 likes Justice.

I sure miss the days when I could get them cute clothes for cheap at Target or Old Navy!

that was a hard choice. i have a list of places to buy from as well as stay away from!! the second one is more important to me since everybody has different style tastes but durability always matters.
my top 4 are:
TCP : great sales and durable stuff and always have my ds's size
carters: cuter for baby stuff then toddler but hold up good
baby gap: my favorite for the nice and cute qualities but harder to get good prices. but by far the cutest stuff

the one brand we will never buy again is Koala Kids.. crappy quality, major shrinkage and garment destruction in the wash with every item we had. also they are ill fitting and priced at high end prices.

I was hoping to pull a few people into Carter's. :D I haven't been in an outlet recently, and was hoping someone might amble in and post about what's there. ;)

I meant to put Osh Kosh, and totally forgot. Even though they're owned by the same company, I like Carter's better than Osh Kosh B'Gosh, so I guess it gets overlooked by me.

I LOVE Strasburg Children! Not sure how I missed that one. I wouldn't buy 90% of their stuff ;) but some of it is precious.

we have a carter's outlet and it sucks with a capitol S. their prices are about the same as regular dept stores so we get better deals at younkers this time of year.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Gymboree!!! 90% of my son's closet is Gymbo, what pieces we have that aren't have come from grage sales/resale shops SUPER cheap. But I also worked at Gymbo for a year and have learned all the secrets to paying the "walmart" prices! I have NEVER once paid more than $7 for a top, and it hurts sometime to pay that. lol The new baby has maybe 3-4 pieces non gymbo, I think they're all carter's I have picked up at resale shops. I REALLY love the older lines, like 2004-2006 have some of my favorite lines and the quality seems even better than it is today. Although I have maybe had a handfull of tops shrink a tiny bit, the qualitly can't be beat for the prices I pay! I can't say enough about the underwear either, I have bought my share of Character undies for DS and 75% of them show wear after the first couple washes (very faded, and the elastic sometimes frays!), I have pairs of gymbo undies that are from 2004 and still look awesome! lol I always buy them when they're marked down to .99 or if I can find the 7 pack when they go to 4.99!
