| | Lets talk "cheapest" way to buy diapers for a minute.. My son is almost 2, and I've been loyal to huggies diapers. Now before I learned about all the money I could save by shopping with coupons and at places like Walgreens and Riteaid, I went into my nearest Costco or Walmart to buy the biggest box of diapers and wipes I could find. Now I'm wonder with all the recent rebates I've seen for huggies, whats the best way to go? Riteaid? Walgreens (to use RR) Manufacture rebate, or the caregivers? Which size bag to buy? Honestly? Which the cheapest way to buy diapers?
I only wish I had learned 2 years ago.. I'm hoping to start potty training in the very near future.
Thanks! |

I agree with lovinmylife- read the thread- there's lots of useful info you'd never think about before- like price per diaper rather than pice per pack. I've had great luck with CVS and their diaper deals- like their buy $30 get $15 ECBs with Huggies they had back in February I think. I don't Riteaid but I do Wag but have never bought diapers there. Huggies is great with the caregiver's marketplace ($1 back per pack). You might also want to try CVS brand diapers. They have BOGO sales so you can get 2 jumbo packs for 8.99- pair that with a CVS brand $/$$ and/or regular $/$$ and you can get them for very little. If you don't like the diapers all CVS brand products have a money back guarantee. |

| | Re: Lets talk "cheapest" way to buy diapers for a minute.. One thing people don't always think about is price per day - a little harder to figure, but if I buy the "cheap" ShopNSave brand, I have to change my almost-2-yr-old 7 or 8 times a day - if I buy Huggies, pampers, etc. it goes down to 4 to 5 times per day. Seems like it may actually be cheaper in the long run, plus it's worth it to me for my time. Anyway, half the time I can actually get the better brands for the same or cheaper per diaper w/ sales/coupons. |

She has leaked so many times because they just don't hold anything!! The cheap price is NOT worth the hassle and the number you go thru. I will never stray again from Huggies!! |

I only used Pampers until I found this site when DS was 6 months old so I have high standards. If you're not happy with them, take them back and they'll give you your money back. |

| | Re: Lets talk "cheapest" way to buy diapers for a minute.. Why would the price per day be any different? You mean if a diaper holds more you let your child sit and pee in the diaper longer? IMHO, a diaper needs to be changed when a child pees/poops not when its getting ready to leak.

So it really doesn't matter what kind I buy I am still going to go through that many diapers be it Pampers Luvs or whatever store brand. |

| | Re: Lets talk "cheapest" way to buy diapers for a minute.. I think the cheapest way to buy diapers is to see what works for your family. Not all hineys are the same. We were a Luvs family and still are, but when CVS had their B1G1 deal a few weeks ago, we tried them and they worked great for us. So I stocked up. No leaking at night which is really important for me. We used Huggies a couple times, but he always seems to leak with them. Which in turn I was doing double laundry with his bedding everyday.
Find what works best for you and your household and when there is a deal stock up

Aside from the fact that I can't use Pampers or Luvs because they give the Pinenut a rash, I have not found a single diaper that didn't "work". Some I LIKE better than others, but they all get the job done.
Price per diaper is the way I will always judge my savings.
