Free Cover Girl tools

Last week I also went to Family Dollar to cash in some of my $1 cover Girl coupons. I bought tweezers, nail files, nail clippers and a few more items for a dollar which made the item FREE. They also had eyelash curlers and pumice stones for $2 which I used the $2.50/2 Cover Girl items cpn.
I walked out of there very happy.

Thanks for the deals! I found the tools at our local Family Dollar too. ...They are not coupon friendly at all, but we finally worked it out.

Some people have found the Cover Girl tools at Dollar General, and there is a thread about it in the Dollar General forum. The CoverGirl tools can be found at any Family Dollar stores and some Dollar General stores.

I dropped in FD today to pick a few of these up again. I was told that the coupons were for make up only because they would not scan without beeping with the nail clippers but anther employee said that they will not even scan with make up. So i have them call someone higher up. At first I was told that I still could not use the coupons on the nail clippers ect. I asked if I could talk to the person on the phone myself, eyes were then rolled at me. I told the person on the phone that the picture dose show make up but that the wording says save $1 on one queen cover girl product and that the item I got was on queen cover girl nail item which by the wording was allowed..then I said that the coupons beep even if you get make up and the beep was why I was told that I could not use it on the nail item so since it says one queen product and beeps even if its make up that is in the picture I think that going by the wording would be the thing to do...so I got to use my coupons on the nail items..

They also told me that they can not take any of the new GS1 coupons at all or they dont get paid for them..lol not a coupon friendly store I tell you
