They tell me that since the Reach coupons ($1 off 1) make the items free, and they don't take "free" coupons, they don't take those coupons.

Guess I'll have to send my crew of couponers to other stores. You'd think they'd want the volume to boost credit with the vendors, but guess not.

I can't even remember the last time I set foot in FD. Every FD I've ever been into has been rude about coupons. I don't bother wasting my time with them.

sorry to hear your store wouldn't take them. I went to my store and they were a bit confused but finally took my coupons. The cashier said to me...but you'll get these FREE... I replied, that's the point! I wanted to get 6 but they would only let me get two, so will make another stop when I am in that area. These are great stocking stuffers. As you can see I also shop early. LOL

Yes I was just in a heated discussion over it the other day with a rather rude cashier. They say "one per purchase" on them so she was only going to let me use one. So I said that I would like to purchase the second one in another transaction. She said she was not aloud to do that. So she went to ring the coupon and it would not go, I didn't want to deal with the matter any more so I told her to keep the toothbrushes and got my other purchases. I wrote corp yesterday night about it. It is so sad that they make you feel like you are stealing it out of their pocket. Oh well the truck I bought for my son broke the second he dropped it last night too. I will no longer shopping there even though it is half a block away and they do have good deals on knickknacks.

If it's for the floss...go use those at Walmart. They are rolled back in some area's at 88 cents...which means you get overage! (otherwise they are normally 97 cents...still overage).

I actually called corporate and they called me back and said that I could use them. I used 4 coupons and my family dollar today but the cashier was very rude and stated "i hate when people use coupons."!!

i have been to 2 family dollar stores (never stepped in them before this wee) and was able to use 15 of the $1/1 coupon at each store .. no problems at all

I was unable to use the $2.50/2 coupon .. they wouldn't give me the overage so I just used the $1/1
