Dutch Auction explanation
A dutch auction is an auction where there are multiple sets of an item up for bid. You may bid on either 1 set, 2 sets up to all the sets but each bid you make will be multiplied by the amount of sets you buy, (unless otherwise posted).

**make sure you specify your bid for each set & you can bid a different amount for each set if you choose**

Example:

If bidding on 3 sets at 5.00 each, your bid would look like this:

5.00 on 3 sets.
This would equal $15.00 total.

If you wanted to bid 7.50 on one & 5.00 on 2 sets, your bid would look like this:

7.50 on one set
5.00 on 2 sets
This would equal $17.50

I have been using these along with the $1.50/2 insert coupons to get FREE candles at Target with their gift card promotion!
See thread here for more info.

Sample transaction:

10 candles @ $2.50 each = 25.00
Use (5) B1G1 coupons -(5)*$2.50 = $12.50
Use (2) $1.50/2 insert coupons - (2)*$1.50 = $9.50 (these coupons are applied to the candles you are "buying" when you use the B1G1 coupons)
And then earn $10 in gift cards! No cashier intervention required, the B1G1's go through for $2.50 automatically!

If you want to just do 5 items and get one gift card, then you could do this:
4 candles @ $2.50 each = $10.00
1 scented oil holder or refill = $2.50
Use (2) B1G1 coupons and (1) $1.50/2 insert takes your total to $6.00, then use (1) $1.50/1 holder or refill q to make it $4.50 & earn a $5 gift card!
Of course this requires having some of the $1.50/1 holder or refill coupons (Please see my other auction:wink7:)
