I found a new Dollar General in an odd place in town, and stopped to check it out. Only I found all Christmas is 25¢ starting today..... I was able to find a ton of stuff I totally need -- LOL. 2 pk buckets with lids for food gifts, tins of all sizes, gift bags in just the size I needed, tissue paper, and outdoor items like a family of Christmas geese (already passing to a friend) and solar lit flag holder with Halloween and winter flags.

The store is only open less than 2 months, but the employee also said that toys are $1 -- not the turquoise star but the marked toys before those (which this store had not stocked since they opened so recently)....
