Circular Schedule & Pricing

Hello all.

I am new to shopping at DG and received a $5/25 for this coming Saturday. I was waiting on the sales to match up coupons and plan my trip. However, when I visited the site today it sales a new ad will be up on 1/15/12.

The previous ad expired yesterday or today. So does this mean there are no sales right now at DG?

I just want to make sure I understand it correctly.

Also, can DG stores make their own individual coupon policy? The corporate policy doesn't match what I was told this past weekend at my local DG.

As far as I know every dg has to go by corporate policy (you might have to stand your ground on that). Ads prices are actually valid after 2pm on Saturday for the ad that goes up on the following Sunday (at least at the Dg where I used to work thats the way it was) But unless you get a sneak peek at the ad you wont know whats going on sale unless you go to the store and get the ad on saturday after 2 than do your matchups and go back before they close. Hope that helps.

Sorry -- I guess this wasn't the circular. It's just a one page flyer that was on the website. The prices on the flyer are good until the end of the month.

I see the same thing as you -- that the next "circular" won't be out until the 15th.
