    I don't think they have a policy posted. I have always emailed customer service for their policy. A cs dude always emails me their policy. Even has my name on it - so the stores can't dispute it. Was doing it twice a year when they told me how stuff changes so FAST .

    She just didn't know how to work the register and ring them up right. I stood my ground and asked her to call and get assistance if there was a problem with the register not accepting them. She finally called another store and voided out the transaction and rang up each bottle seperately. That seemed to work for her. She kept mumbling about it saying one per purchase and that's why it didn't work. I got my 2 bottles of All but it took 10 minutes at the register and ended up with a very frustrated cashier. (I felt the daggers hit my back as I walked out the store)

    Thats because you can only use one store coupon per transaction.

    so today i went to the DG that is in the town that i work in found cortaid on the clerance shelf for 2.50 had 2 so i got out my 3.00 off any cortaid coupon and get to the register to use them and the girls ( teenagers barely out of highschool) told me that if the coupon is for more than the product they cant except them and i asked if they could not manually put it in for the amount of the product 2.50 and she said no they could not take the coupon so i got my coupons back and had her take them off i had other items and wasnt even wanting overage i just wanted the product for what i thought would be free I didnt have my DG policy with me so i didnt argue but i think i will call and speak to the manager. Thanks for letting me vent does this happen often ?

    I tired the same thing with the Cortaid. Manager told me I could not use a coupon on any clearance items.

    Had problem with Manufacturer's internet printable on Glade air freshener today at mine:
    Each can on sale for $1 each, had $2 off 2 Glade product, and they wouldn't even scan coupon to see if it would go through, saying something that they would accept if each can was over $1
    Was in a rush, and a line forming fast behind me, as only 1 register open, so I didn't bother reasoning with them.

    Oh well, I'll try wally world when I'm able to get out that way.

    Just an FYI....i have had issues with my Dollar General also. Even the district manager didnt return my phone call after he said he would. Now I called 877-463-1553 and spoke with Jessica and she said that if you have a coupon for more than the item that amount will be applied toward your other purchases. I would advise you call that number and speak with them and hear it from them. I plan to go for the 1st time in months to see if they will do it!
