general question
I was in doller general last night and they have air wick spray mist b1g1 free through the 16th I think there is a b1g1f coupons coming out does any one know how this will ring up , will it make both items free

It should. If DG decides to take them! They arent high on coupon usage so sometimes the cashiers will refuse just because they are confused and dont wanna get in trouble. But technically you should be able to do this. The store is paying for one with their sale and the coupon is paying for the other.

they should ring up full price and then at the end come off....kind of like what wags does...

they take 1/2 off on theirs. but they should put the coupon value in at $3 I did this today and had a nice coupon friendly cashier. A lady behind me was like man u need to give me tips. i explained the coupon that the store is paying for one with their sale and the manufacturer is paying for the other with the coupon . But ther eare non coupon friendly cashiers. One lady was like i dunno if we can take these referring to manufactuere coupons. I picked up some m&m's for the BOGO coupons and they werent even on sale. i just wanted to use the coupons before they expired. so meh be prepared for something but in the end hopefully you can get what you wanted. Luckily i had no issues.

i guess each store is different. which you would think it wouldnt be. i did the aqua mist on saturday....they rang up full price and then on the receipt it shows bogo and it took off the $3...but the coupon automatically scanned for $3...

remember on fridays to go to their facebook and get a $5/$25 ip (bricks link) when you fan them...it is good only for that weekend..

I went back to the store near my house and got some more air mist. They only had 4. but she told me where 2 other stores were. The other store i went to it rang up differently. It worked fine at the first one. 2nd store i got 8 airwicks and 3 bandaids. I used 4 BOGO coupons but in the end i somehow ended up paying $6.75 when my subtotal should have been .75. She shows that all the coupons scanned and stuff but said something about you cant get stuff for free etc. I think what it looks like their registers did is i paid the 1/2 on 4 of them. I tried to explain to her the BOGO and the coupons and that i was at another dollar general earlier and it all came off. But she just kept explaining how you cannot get stuff for free. So i was like thats fine. I was gonna stop back at the one near my house to see if she could fix it but i had to run out at cvs and harris teeter as wellt oday and my daughter just wanted to go home. So evidently stuff scans totally different at different dollar generals! Didnt know it till today. The receipts here are soo complicated to look at too how they ring up and take discounts off.

ok heres what happen to me
my store said they would not take any coupons that didnt have their logo on it how crazy is that ;giggle;
i ask her about the sign on the window that says we accept manuf. coupons ,I guess she had a memory lapse or something but to make a long story short she would not let me use the b1g1f and said they will not ever let anyone get : free stuff: it was funny in a way but it also made me not want to ever go back in there but I just might try another store tomorrow since its the last day of the sale

But the store near my house the guy i think may be the manager is coupon friendly and the lady that rang me up last night and this morning. the other DG is alot bigger and nicer but I think ill stick to the one near my house.

perhaps they should read their own Q acceptance policy! Does NOT exclude getting free items with sale and Q!
