These are used for many reason, some of which include :
~ to allow them access to get on base (whereas normal civilians are not permitted unless accompanied by a military personnel)
~ to shop at military *only* stores (such as commissaries)
~ to receive national store and restaurant discounts
~ for all things having to do with their military rights and responsibilities
The Dollar General coupon on the back of the ad ....no matter how ya "nit-pick" the wording.....it's clear to me what the use is intended for...it is ONLY for those who are in the military (past or present).
Us everyday civilians have not EARNED the discount that is being offered, therefore we should not redeem the coupon.
If you haven't served, have NO military ID and KNOW that you have never been in the military...
Then ignore the coupon....
It's not for you.
But if you know of someone who HAS served, IS serving and has a military ID and deserves the discount that's being offered...
Then share your coupon with them....
I've yet to meet ANYONE who was offended by saving money.
