QUESTION: We got a new DG and in the mail today I got a DG coupon for $5 off of $20 purchase.
Does anyone know DG policy? Will they let me use this AND MQs on one transaction?
I have hopes of getting 6 bottles of the Snuggle, and a few boxes of the Surf detergent that I have the $3 coupons for and using this $/$$.

Found out last week that Family Dollar would not/could not take both. It was one or the other. So I'm wondering if DG is the same way?

I wonder why your Family Dollar wouldnt take BOTH their coupon plus manuf coupons?? Mine takes both

Thanks for the heads up. I may price match this snuggle price at Wal-Mart so I can get all scents for this price. I have alot of snuggle Q's to use up

How does Dollar General handle overage? Is it a YMMV situation? TIA & reps!

At dollar general the 60oz is the 24 load so the $3 coupon will not work on that one...but they have 40 load for $3.75 and it dose work on that, so you would only pay 75 cents thats like 5 for the price of one.........

My Family Dollar told me that I can only use 2 coupons alike or not alike per store visit....so in and out I will go and see what they have to say about that..to get items free or dirt cheap I dont care to pay go to the car and pay again.. This is a crazy rule for I might have 10 different coupons i want to use and can still only use 2....

Weird about FD coupon limit of 2 total. That really seems like a silly waste of thier time/resources. I've used as many as 7 or 8 identicals at one time. The cashier is nice and very proud of peoples good deals. I've tipped her with Snuggle Qs and others. Most cashiers it makes thier day to get a free item coupon. Maybe this would help some of you who have cashiers making up rules.

Look up their coupon policy online, print and take it with you next time. Sounds like someone is making up the rules as they go!!!!

I have also used more than 1 of the same coupon...but like you said if that is their rule...out to the car and right back in!!

the coupon policy is not online I looked already.......the cashier told me that she got in trouble last week for letting me go out and back in 5 times...I dont understand why we followed their rules of 2 coupons per visit...I wrote family dollar about the matter but have not heard back from them yet maybe soon
