I'm impressed by that too, honestly! But we each have our own needs and our ability to be flexible in what we buy and what we save. The cashiers at my Dillons, many of them know me and know that I am a couponer and rarely buy things (besides produce and such) without a coupon. I can certainly expect to save over 60% on every trip (since their regular prices are overinflated anyway), but I don't often get a high-dollar trip down to just a few dollars. Great job!

There was one cashier I ran into who seemed to think I was trying to rob the store. That really stinks. If I was trying to rob the store, I wouldn't have gone to the checkout.

Non-couponers checkout totals drives me totally crazy too! Even before I was a couponer I am such a bargain shopper I couldn't believe what people would pay for things. But then again, many of my friends are that kind of shoppers. They either don't care enough or don't "have the time" to do it. Whatever. It's their money, they can waste it if they want to.

Thumbs Up Re: Cashier reactions vs. personal reaction?

I love to have cashier's get excited, but I want to know from some of you pros something. I can never get my % below 65%, but we do not buy a lot of "junk". what tips are there out there.
