Self Check Out

Today I went through self check at Dillons. Usually, at the end it will ask you if you have coupons and then you scan your own coupons. Today, a screen came up that told me to give my coupons to the attendant and they would scan them and they checked them over with a fine tooth comb. This has never happened in the past.

Have your self check outs also gone to this? If normally they just took your coupons, are they now checking them against the computer? This was all new to me. How about you?

I did SC 2 days ago, and that didn't happen...hmmmm

That happened to me about a week ago at the Battlefield store in Springfield. I don't usually do self checkout so I wasn't sure if it was always that way or not.

I always use self checkout at Dillon's (on Battlefield) and they have been doing this for the last month or two. It hasn't been bad actually, I haven't had any problems, and usually goes a little faster since I don't have to wait around if something beeps.

Hmmm... wasn't that way the last time I did self check out but that was over a week ago.

Our regular stores have been this way for quite a while but it hasnt been a problem.

yep no problem. They look at it carefully, but like MrsBird02 says, you don't have to wait for anyone either when the coupon beeps.
