QUESTION Dillons: no more overage on bb tuna at battlefield????

Today I was limited to getting 24 BB tuna...I only had 25 but had to put that one back and go grab another mega item. Also, she adjusted the .55/1 MQ (not blinkie) down to .49. She adjusted my $1 Krusteaz down to .99. This is the first time I've ever had a problem with q's at Battlefield. I used these same q's 3 days ago without a problem, but she said she got into trouble allowing the q's to double. They didn't mark the q's down either, so won't they be reimbursed for the amount listed on the q? She was nice about it although it took forever and she had to type the q's in by hand. She only adjusted the mega q's down, no other q's.

Anyone else had any problems like this?

I had a cart full of other groceries, so I wasn't trying to make out with a 0.00 oop either. I'm hoping this isn't the end of overages!

I haven't had the issue, and I would have walked out...THe price is NOT .49 it's .99 on the tuna. The $5 off is a completely different deal, I would be steaming! Sounds like you hit the wrong cashier!
    If it isn't free.....it isn't for me!

Apparently the wrong cashier and the wrong manager. It seemed like they had all been instructed not to take it as usual.

Should I write corporate? Do you think it would help or I would get any money back? Probably not.

Like I said, they were all very nice about it and not accusing me of cheating the system, etc, but I wasn't sure what the policy was as far as doubling/mega sale deductions, etc.

I usually fly under the radar and I've gotten so much for free from Dillons, that I'm okay with not getting overage this time. I still got them for free. However, I would just like to know what the policy is and what I should expect next time a mega rolls around, KWIM?

I only had 2 tuna blinkies, but used them @ W. Battlefield just fine yesterday.

I would LOVE to know which cashier this was, since I frequent this store. Also, the manager at the E. Sunshine store used to be at Dillons. He is SOOOO wonderful! I can't see him giving couponers a problem with overage.

It was Rachel a younger blonde cashier and she said she'd gotten into trouble before with those. I think if I had only use a couple she wouldn't have noticed, but I just wanted to finish my mega sale q's so I wouldn't have to drive back into town. Hopefully just an isolated incident!

I had the same problem at Kearney St. a few weeks ago. The daytime woman manger (don't know her name) said that they won't give overage anymore. I still got the product free, but it would be nice if all stores were consistent.

So do you guys have a page where you match the coupons with the sales? Is there a place where you can see the ad early then order coupons?

We see the ad 1 day early, Tracy posts it in this forum, but it's a Food4Less ad from somewhere else... I don't know where. Usually it's identical to our ad. That gives you a week to get coupons, although most of the mega-sales last 2 weeks so actually you have 2 weeks to get them (though it's never guaranteed).
