Has anyone found any of the Krusteaz Corn Muffin mix at Dillons? I know it's included in the Mega, but I didn't see it on the shelves. Thanks!

I'm interested to see how good this Kellogg's sale is. Want some Rice Krispies and Frosted Mini Wheats, we love those! I guess there's no way to find out which ones will be 50% off until Thursday morning, huh?

Well I think I've officially exhausted the tuna and the coupons. It was a good sale! (even though it's on for 3 more days actually). I have to say this time, they did a great job of keeping the sale items in stock. There were some things out of stock the first few days, but after that, there were tuna, cookie mixes, etc on the shelves every time I went.

I was checking out today and got one of my least favorite cashiers. She took all my $1.00 Krusteaz coupons and hand-entered each and every one at 0.99 (because she said that is what they cost). When I asked her why did they reduce the amount they gave off for the coupon but send it in and redeem for full value, she explained that it is illegal to give you more off that what the item costs. Then I said what if I only buy three then they cost $1.49, then I could use the full value of the coupon, so why does it matter. She told me that each coupon is tied to the transaction it is used at by the register tape. All the while we were having this discussion she was scanning in my 0.55 tuna coupons for full price LOLOL.

Ha ha, this makes me laugh too. Obviously the manager is concerned for some reason, it's a major bummer if people are misusing and that's going to negatively affect 1) the cashiers and the job they have to do 2) other couponers even 3) the store as they try to implement policies that will help prevent some people from cheating.

LOL- I had the same situation ! I had a crest raincheck and the gal ( who is normally awesome ) starts scanning my .75/1 Crest coupons and then states "Oh I cant do this!" and starts backing each of them out ! I asked why she couldnt do it and she told me that she cant multiply them if it makes the item free. After a bit of reasoning and offering to void and check out at CS where I could get a clear explaination of the policy, she added them back in declaring " It probably doesnt matter since they DIDNT say do not double"

She was telling me that they JUST changed the policy because of the coupon ladies (snicker) and I asked why. She said a lady came in and bought an ungodly amount of groceries ( she mentioned the amt) for $100 and her manager didnt like what "she" was doing to "our" store. So naturally I asked if the lady had been using the right coupons in the right way and cashier said NO. I said well, if you can get XXXX amt of groceries for $100 and do it using coupons - Good on ya ! But dont use coupons wrongly it ruins it for everyone. I decided I am going to talk to the manager and get as much info on this "coupon lady" as possible. You know.... if she is scamming the system then the Mgr needs to know about all of the honest coupon ladies out here and what we do. If she is just one of us ( and not flying uner the radar) then I cant blame her if she is using coupons right . If she is here - then it may do all of us Springfieldians a great benefit if she started using coupons in smaller transactions. So I thought I would ask the manager to tell me what kinds of problems he is in fact having, and then determine myself if its true issues or that they just misunderstand coupons.

Now for my punchline. After all that discussion about multiplying coupons and not doing it when it is free or says do not double LOL -- She went on to scan AND multiply all of my wolf blinkies AND let my .50/1 Wolf insert coupons double Dont you love the consistency !?!
