UPDATE: Lisa on her blog reports that there was an email sent out on the new policy and it was incorrectly sent to our local stores. NO CHANGES, with the exception of it is now in writing that e-coupons and paper coupons will both be accepted on the same item!!

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WHO EMAILED, AND THEREFORE ALERTED KROGER TO THE ERROR! And thanks to Lisa for going to Dillons on W. Battlefield in person and speaking with the Asst. Manager who gave her all of this information.

Well, unfortunately, the fraudsters will still pass bad coupons, they will just do it 2 at a time !

You are so right Tracy. The bagger (girl) said they had 1 lady who always used just IPs, lots of them at a time. I wrote my email to corporate, stating I'd probably be sticking closer to 1 of the 3 grocery stores nearer to me, and asked them to reconsider the stance.

Just because a gal used lots of IPs at one time, doesn't mean they're fraudulent.

Well, when that lady comes next time, maybe they should accept her coupons and then verify them and nab her ! Its always the bad apples.....

If I worked at a grocery store and someone routinely used ONLY IPs and lots and lots of them, Id look at verifying them. It just makes sense

Is this for all of Dillons stores? Is 2 IP's 2 per same product or 2 for the entire transaction?

I have emailed corp to verify these details. I will post as soon as I find out.

I read on another site that they were also doing away with doubling anything past .50!! Anyone else hear this?? If this is the case it REALLY stinks!
