Saw lots of 75% off summer clearance today at St Louis and Battlefield . I forgot to look at Sunshine but I bet its the same case.

We went to Calvary Bible years ago...now we go to the Bridge Church. Have fun at the carnival! If you live in Nixa and you are interested in $1 Zumba classes...let me know. I can hook u up!!

I actually live in Ozark. I understand that Calvary Bible went through some major challenges some years ago. There is a new pastor there now who is a friend of mine from the theatre... thats how we first wound up going there when we left our Springfield church. How do you like The Bridge ?

I think those changes occurred at least 3 years or so after we'd left. Joe Fahl was pastor when we were there. The AWANA program they have there was good for our son.

Been at the Bridge about 5 years and mostly love it (there's always something I'd change somewhere, LOL!). It's what I call a "real" church, meaning they don't care about your background, and try hard to make everyone feel accepted. Yet, they preach the Bible and try to keep things real...no pretense there. The worship is what got me the first time we visited...very genuine. They are really trying lately to become more involved in the community, especially being in a servant role to the community.

Sounds like a good place to be. Calvary Bible doesn't have AWANA anymore but they do have a good kids program on Sunday nights. I know what you mean by a real church. CB is in the transition process it seems towards this type of church. We visited several after leaving a church that was just stuck... you know the old story. Its the same one. We were placed there for a reason (5yrs) but were finally released. Our church has taken on prayer walking the entire city and has covered quite a bit already. Our family is big on serving and the church seems to be going in that same direction. As I see it those are the 2 biggest things - preach the truth only and facilitate pure worship. The rest comes naturally when you're doing those things. Our family is still very new but people treat us like we have been a part of the family forever. Its very nice. I have alot to offer but have decided to just set back and wait for God to show me where he wants me. This week its painting faces LOL.

I was at the Dillons at Harry and Webb in Wichita last Wednesday and my girls were with me. We found a smaller Intex Easy Set pool that was originally $100 and they got it for $25!!! They split their allowance money they had with them and paid $12.50 each....so proud of my little savers (ages 9 and 7) for getting such a cool item for a good price, and chipping in for it! :)

We also picked up some Banzai water guns for $1.67 each and a goggle set that came with nose plugs, a bag and a swim cap too for $2.50. I LOVE DILLONS SEASONAL CLEARANCE! :)
