according to ebay and other clipping sites, you are not buying the coupons themselves, but paying for their time, effort, labor, etc. in clipping the q's.

I generally shop the Dillons on Battlefield, and I can honestly say I've never been through Ed's line (I finally figured out who he was last week), and I've never had a problem w/ the head redhead cashier. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jeri and Todd there. So, I will continue to go to that store. I wouldn't write it off by any means, OP.

I still go to battlefield, but never late on weekend nights (on purpose) all because of Ed. Life is just too short to walk into that intentionally

I like Todd. I don't care for the young self check lady. The other person that I always avoid is the blonde (daytime) lady who works the self check at Sunshine.

Wow! Thanks gals, you all are making me feel so welcome:) Coupon mom, I'll take you up on that offer maybe in the next week or so. I'll private message you when I know for sure the time and day. Thanks for the heads up about the brownies( I would love to get these) how long will it be on sale for? Can anyone tell me how to go about getting q's on ebay? Never done it so I'm gonna have alot of questions. I am totally green! lol I think I'll just skip going to the Battlefield Dillions for now, until I'm ready to face the onslaught!

Hey, welcome! I am new also and had no idea you can buy coupons on ebay! I will definitely look into that for the things I want to buy a lot of. Brownie mix, unfortunately, isn't one of them.

I'm in Kansas but I also get the Kansas City Star for the best coupons. My mom and SIL live there and keep their coupons for me also. I think I now have 5 people giving me their coupon inserts, but if I want a lot of something I can always buy more qs I guess!

I've been couponing for about 2 1/2 months and they are right, it's a learning curve. I'm getting better at looking at ads, finding good coupon matchups, but I do still rely on reading blogs and posts on here for the best deals. The thing I have to stop myself from doing is to keep shopping even though it's a really great deal! This month I am finally getting myself back on budget for groceries/toiletry items because I felt such a need to stock up as I got started.

I started my stockpile for paper products and cereal/granola bars in my hall closet (where we hang our coats and I keep our vaccuum). There was plenty of room in the back of that.

    Best wishes to you!

Flat storage boxes for underneath beds also make great stockpile hiding places.
I also stick to a budget every month. I never spend more than $400 a month for my family of 10 and I get lots of extras with that such as clothes, shoes and ocassional other items. That includes $14 a week for fresh milk too =0)

Tracy, I've been at Harter House here in Nixa twice on Mondays when they've had gallon milk (Hiland) marked to $1.99 and there is still 5-6 days left before the expiration. This past Monday it was whole milk, before that it was either 1% or 2%, can't remember for sure.

I'm not sure if it's a random mark down or not.
