Re: Question about Ecoupon policy I think this has always been the policy, or the intended policy, but because of the computer system they can't get it to distinguish that. I know all manufacturer (paper) coupons say "limit one per purchase" or basically are to imply that only one manufacturer coupon can be used on an item. And I believe manufacturers are the ones paying for the e-Coupons also. But it must have something to do with the way the computer system works. When I first started using e-Coupons I just thought I would try it and lo and behold, it worked! But then there have been a number of times that my e-Coupon has not come off when it was supposed to. Blogs I have read said that you can contact them and they might try to give you a credit, but that may not work either. So it just seems like those are a little extra bonus and you can't really count on them working or not.
For you bloggers out there - I would be careful because if you are advertising that people can use e-Coupons on top of manufacturer coupons and the more people start doing it, I think they will clamp down on it a lot more quickly. For one thing, I think doing that might actually be fraud. I have thought about warning some of the blogs I read that they probably shouldn't be promoting that. Other training/couponing info sites have just said "well you're not supposed to do this..." |
