(Salinas, CA) -- Fresh Express has issued a recall for packaged salads over possible bacterial contamination.
The Salinas, California-based company is recalling over 2,800 cases of "Veggie Lover's Salad" with an August 10th expiration date.
The salads were distributed in 14 states.
Fresh Express says one salad tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause fever, nausea, diarrhea and other symptoms.
So far there are no illnesses reported.
