Dillons ~ Question: Question: Pricematching with Dillons Ad...

I was just wondering how it works at Walmart when you take a Dillons ad to pricematch during a Mega Event. Do they go off the regular price or the discounted price? (usually $.50 less for the $5 off after buying ten participating items) I wonder if it might work...the price in the ad is so big and highlighted in yellow. How about if you buy ten? Just curious if anyone has ever tried. TIA!

Buy 10 of the items you need and tell them the price after the $5 discount. They won't let you do it unless you are buying 10 of the items.

I just pricematched today at WM a Dillon's Mega Event item and the cashier didn't say a thing about me only buying 2 instead of 10. I was even willing to comp the sale price before the additional .50 cents off without an argument- but oh well. I figure honestly, I should have to buy 10 to get that sale price.
