I've had the same problem at the Dillons stores in Lawrence. I've too noticed they are checking each coupon, are we killing them with our q's So I have a ton of SOBE q's I'm probably not going to use. It's not a regular staple in our house and I'm not going to purchase it unless it can be enough of a mm to cover the sales tax.

I'm quite disgusted by the fact that I can't get Kroger Corp (I've emailed CS, and twittered) to respond to me with an official coupon policy.

Thats a shame that your dillons does that. The one in JC is terrible about that. But if I go to Salina I have no problems. I know about 30% of the cashiers in salina already lol. Usually I will stand there and tell them how to get the same deals. And most do. If i have extras I will leave them there for them. If I know I am gonna do a ton of transactions I might make an envelop of extras ahead of time with a list of where to use them and how to use them for the most money.

I ended up with ridiculous tearpads from kwik shop for soda and powerade both of which are on sale this week. Powerade is free, soda is 4 for $1 . Doesnt lawrence have that town ottawa nearby? They were Really friendly last time we were there. I know it might be a small trip but for great service where wouldnt you go?

We travel an extra 15 minutes to go to salina vs JC just cause the service is SOOO much better.

I try to go to the same cashier, because I know how she handles q's. I simply write ".99" on the coupon and she enters it.

Today at the store on W. Battlefield they had gallon chocolate milk 2/$5. They only had 1 in the case though...looked like a sale price to me...not a manager's special. You can't even buy a gallon of white milk for that these days. My skinny son will love it, LOL!

Ok, I LOVE Dillon's...usually save 80-100%! Today I got 82.00 worth (some of that meat, eggs and chips (which I had no q's for- chips are ridicilous BTW...I cringe everytime my BF requests them) for 14.42 plus tax!

THE SOBEs ARE a MM! I noticed I had an e coupon loaded for $2 off when you buy 10! So 10 = 2.00 MM :))) Check and see if you can still load that q, if you haven't already. I had already bought 8 last week, and super glad I saw that e coupon before I hit the store today, or again, I probably would have only bought 8! I'm in Topeka, and rarely rarely get any grief from cashiers...so far so good :)
    If it isn't free.....it isn't for me!

Okay I had to share this, even though the deal is probably no good now, but yesterday I went to Dillons to get some Powerade because my 3 year old has been throwing up and I remembered it was 0.49 on the mega deal. Had to buy 8 items of course so brought my coupons. I got some V8-VFusion, golden grahams bars (which were restocked), caramel bugles, Go gurt, 2 powerades, and 1 pouch of the Bumble Bee Albacore Tuna. The catalina machine printed out a 0.60/2 coupon for Bumble Bee Albacore Tuna pouches. Wow, I thought. We are eating a lot of tuna because my DH had a heart attack. And I thought, this will make them 0.19 on the mega deal. So I went back, armed with more coupons and planning to play the catalina as long as I could.

Got $1.00 off 3 when I used my 0.60 off 2 (which did double so those were a 0.02 moneymaker). Got $1.50 off 4 when I used my $1.00 off 3 (of course combining them all in groups of 8). By this time it was 10:30 PM and they were changing all the shelves for today's sales so I don't know if I would have gotten more, but I didn't get a catalina that time.

So, I got 10 tuna pouches for $1.47 (that's including the original one I bought for 0.49 to get the first catalina).

I also bought a lot of other things of course. I spent $21 for: 2 V8Fusion, 4 Golden Grahams treats, 4 Chex Mix Sweet and Salty, 3 NV Granola Thins, 2 NV Fruit & Nut, 1 Bugles caramel, 4 Powerades, 2 boxes of Go Gurt, and the 10 pouches of tuna.

    Just had to share!
