Dillons ~ Other: Nothing good on sale at Dillon's lately...

Maybe , it's just me, but I feel that the sales at Dillon's have really been lacking since the end of March/first of April. Once in awhile they will have one or two good items, but that is it-it's pretty much the same thing each week.

I am a person who tends to shop sales and just get the staples on the "off" weeks when there is nothing good on sale. My stock pile is starting to dwindle and I've had to do some shopping without coupons!:sad: My grocery budget is starting to feel the pinch of my couponless shopping-my hubby is even asking me about not using coupons-he said he can really see the difference in our grocery budget too-he is very pro couponing!

Is your grocery budget feeling the lack of a decent sale or is it just me?

I agree the sales haven't been too great the last 2 weeks. I've traded for over 100 Reese's qs that have doubled, and been MM's, so I have still been walking out with groceries for nothing....but other than those q's making me money, the other deals haven't been awesome.

Try going in the morning or late evening, you'll find good manager specials on many items...meat, etc. 2 of the stores near me put out tons of clearance items every few days, so always check those. I have been finding better items that aren't advertised, than those in the ad's lately!

I hope we get some good sales soon!

I'm hoping that they are gearing up for some awesome grilling-season sales. I bet there will be a good sale for Memorial Day. Unfortunately, the price of gasoline is on the way up and so are the food prices. :(

I went to Dillon's yesterday and had a great time with some Q's I ordered off the internet! I got 16 boxes of Ronzoni for .32 each, 16 grillmates seasoning packets (free), 11 tubes of colgate children's toothpaste for .27 each, 6 speedsticks (free), some really really cheap covergirl makup using the bogo, 2.50/2 MC, $1/1 MC and $4 off your total order P&G deal (eyeshadow was something like .10 each!) Altogether I only spent $$ for everything (after using a $4 cat from previous trip) So I guess my point is that there are still some good deals to be had, but I can't wait until they do another but 10 get $4 off kind of sale

Awesome job!!! Maybe I'm just off on my game-I had a baby 5 weeks ago and am just maybe out of practice after trying to adjust to the new addition! I'll just blame it on my hormones readjusting after the pregnancy-lol! :) You guys are doing great! :)
