I am super excited about my 1st Big Trip since I started couponing!! The checker at the register was so surprised when my Total came to $12.05, the look on her face was priceless and she even said it twice...wow $12.05!! Here is what I got

I think that's it!! I was so excited...I was smiling like a kid in a candy store when I left only having to pay $12.05!!

It is very addicting...my husband is already saying"how many razors & bodywashes do you really need" as many as I can get if they are FREE or dirt cheap!!!
And I had to send in my receipt to P&G to get my coupon booklet!! But I am saving all my other receipts and wondering why I've been paying full price for stuff all my life!!:shrug7:

Get a picture and start a file on your computer =) Put the total spent/saved in the file name. Its great motivation during those weeks you'd rather just stay home.

Oh ! One more thing. There was a time that my hubby would walk behind me in the store and say (loudly at times) "Do we really need another tub of toothpaste?!?"

He is now the biggest extreme couponing support person ever. I can hand him a wad of coupons and send him to a store and he "gets it" . He can Wag, CVS or run the gauntlet of a Dillons Cat deal all by himself now

I think most hubbys eventually get the stockpiling mentality. Until that time arrives for yours, just speak lovingly and say " Bear with me and someday you will understand "
