Dillons ~ Vent: Rant to the woman in front of me in line

This is for the woman in front of me in line at Dillons today. I MIGHT be able to let it slide that you had over ONE HUNDRED TWENTY boxes of green giant frozen vegetables in your cart so that when I went to the freezer case I could not even get the THREE boxes I wanted. BUT THEN, you give the cashier your coupons which are all for the 19 oz BAGS or higher and you KNEW exactly what you were doing!! When the cashier called you on it, you made her get the manager who told you the same thing. You smiled and sneered and said "Well, then YOU can put them all back!" and walked out.

Every time I have a bad experience couponing, I blame people like YOU who ruin it for all of us by intentionally trying to be fraudulent. At least I got to get my three boxes from the ones you left. Geez.

No wonder some cashiers look at ALL couponers like we are trying to rip them off!! This woman should be ashamed of herself, walking out and leaving them with a ton of work when she was in the BIG TIME WRONG...that makes me really upset, having been a cashier in the past myself and having people leave huge carts of stuff for us to put back on shelves.

That is RIDICULOUS! Where do people come off thinking that doing things like this are ok? Hopefully the rest of us can display the kindness and politeness needed to help couponers have a better rep at our store!

When I make a mistake (and I really mean a mistake), I very customarily offer to put the merchandise back. Most of the time, they accept my offer to reshelf, and other times, they decline and say it's no trouble for them.

Wow. I would have apologized when I got to the cashier on behalf of the HONEST couponers, and asked that they please not judge us all on the one.

oh how awful. If i had seen that, I would have backed up the cashiers and told the lady something (probably not so nicely) like she's giving all couponers a bad name when she does things like that.

Can you please share what store this was. If its one of my stores, I plan to stop and talk to the manager and let him/her know that we arent all like this. It would do them good to know that we disapprove of this crap and word does get around about dishonest couponers.
