I have set a new record and have not been to Dillons (or any other grocery store, including Walmart) since Monday, and that was ONLY to buy a gallon of milk. I did go to Walgreens and bought Cottonelle, liquid medicine for the vaporizer, and children's Wal-itin. I'm doing pretty good, except I'm almost out of the good frozen vegetables and will soon only be left with frozen spinach, so I'm going to have to get very creative.

Im all about people not clearing the shelves either. I really think that is part of the reason some cashiers hate couponers. :( We all love a good deal, but I think it is greedy to take all of an item. I understand if there is only one or two left, that cannot be helped, but if there is 20 I think it is rude to take them all. I do not post much, but this is a subject I am passionate about!!

Yep, Dillons has .39 turkeys. Ive bought 3 so far ( smaller ones- for regular dinners with lunch leftovers)

I didnt get any tissues either =0( I agree on shelf clearing. I spend the time and gas to go to different stores and buy an item at each. Besides not wanting to be greedy with my friends here, I really try to protect our reputation. I spend extra time and coupons to foster nice relationships with the cashiers - and I'll tell you there are definately some couponers in Springfield with a bad rep. The cashiers arent shy to talk about them when they trust you. I've had a manager apologise to me because an angry lady not only bought all of the huggies wipes, but was mad at him for not ordering more for her - because * She needed at least 8 more to complete her craigs list transaction*.

Ps. I never rely on overage for RC items. Its just a no go. I wont fight it either, because if we do that lots we may lose overage altogether someday. I will go back repeatedly to avoid having to get a RC on those types of items. I have RC for Halls and B1G1 coupons. Its going to make the halls .25 each - which is not a great deal for someone who has a crate full of free/overage Halls. When this happens I will pass on the RC and the Qs to a friend who isnt coupon savvy, or in need etc.... we get into such a routine of our max prices for stockpile that we sometimes forget that our *bad* deal is someone elses WOWZERS ! deal. I like this idea especially because it is such a *hand up* way to help someone in need and gives them some of their dignity back rather than just receiving the items themselves.....
