Do you Uscan with coupons?

I am just curious do you all Uscan with coupons?
If you do Uscan how many coupons do you use when Uscaning?
How many items do you purchase when you Uscan?

I like to Uscan so as I scan an item I can move my coupons from the unscanned to the scanned pile to make sure I have a coupon for each item.
I can then make sure that I get all the credit for my coupons as I scan them. I have bought things in the past and had the cashier scan the coupons and it beep like it took it and it not take it off.

I bought several things this evening and was told that in the future when purchasing several items they would prefer you use a cashier.

Please share your thoughts on this.

I prefer to use the U-scan also. Helps me to be able to see that each item rings up at the right price, plus helps me see the q's scan correctly. (It's also really cool to see my esavers come off then!) I haven't had anyone give me any problems, but I've never tried to use it with a really huge order. I think my U-scan has signs asking a limit of 20-25 items?? In general I do try to comply with that limit; if I have just a couple of things over I'll still use the U-scan. Never any problems with my q's, either.

What exactly is Uscan? I have no clue! Sometimes, especially if I have expired coupons, I use the self checkout so I don't receive any grief from a cashier. Our Dillons usually will let you use expireds up to 2 weeks though.

Uscan is the self check out.

Mine doesn't have a sign up with a limit but I am going to make sure I don't have more than 25 items so I don't lose control of what happens at the check out.

Correcting myself, here: some U-scans have the "limits" signs, and some locations don't. I had about 25 items in my basket today and asked the attendant if it would be okay (thinking of this thread) and was told they have no limit at that location. So I guess YMMV.

I love to use them. It's such a guessing game in new areas with who is a "cool" cashier. However, I get to a certain amount of coupons and the machine shuts down and the person halts my order and I have to finish the order at the desk they stand at. They've always been nice though. (I use alot of coupons so it takes them a long time and alot of manual input-overides)
