Coffee & Cream Brownies
Ingredients
3 oz cream cheese, softened
2 T butter
1/4 C sugar
4 eggs, divided
1/2 t vanilla
1 T flour
2 T instant coffee
1/4 C warm water
19.8 oz family size boxed brownie mix
1/2 C vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine butter and cream cheese. Add sugar. Beat in 1 egg and vanilla. Stir in flour and mix well. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, dissolve coffee in the water. Add the brownie mix (dry), remaining eggs, and the vegetable oil. Blend well. Pour half of the mixture into a greased 9x13" baking dish.
Drop cream cheese mixture using a teaspoon over the brownie batter. Pour remaining batter over the cheese mixture. Gently swirl a butter knife through the pan to create a marbled effect.
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool before cutting and removing from pan.
