Default Pillsbury Grands - Cinnamon Twist recipe

I was thinking of ways to use my boatload of pillsbury grands other than biscuits and gravy, I found this recipe and I'm eating hot cinnamon twists now! Super easy and a good way to get rid of some of those biscuits we've all piled up. The family won't even know they're eating biscuits..AGAIN :)

    3 tablespoons sugar
    1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts ( I didn't use these)
1 can (10 ounces) refrigerator biscuits
    2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Place sugar, cinnamon, and nuts in pie plate or other flat dish and stir to combine.

Remove refrigerator biscuits from package and pull each to about 6 inches in length.

Melt butter in small pan over low heat and leave butter in pan. Dip each biscuit in melted butter and roll in sugar-nut mixture.

Twist and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake in 475 degree F oven 8 minutes. (I turned mine down to 375 after 4 minutes so they wouldn't burn on the bottom)

Remove from cookie sheet and place twists on wire rack to cool slightly. Serve warm.

    Makes 10 twists

    Drizzle with icing
    1/4 cup softened butter
1/4 cup cream cheese (I did a little less)
    1 cup powdered sugar
    1/4 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp milk

    YUMMY!
    If it isn't free.....it isn't for me!

    Yummy.
I got the reduced fat version to avoid trans-fats, so maybe wouldn't feel so guilty if I'm adding butter...
