Butterscotch Pie?

Does anyone have a really awesome butterscotch pie recipe that will actually set up? I've tried a couple different recipes and they never set but this is my husband's favorite. I would love to make him one for Thanksgiving. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

here would be my take on a butterscotch pie

: butterscotch flavored pudding
: ghram cracker crust
: cool whip
: butterscotch candy peices, crushed

make pudding as directed for pie, add half container of cool whip, mix well. pour into ghram cracker crust, top with remaining half of cool whip, top with crushed butterscotch pieces of candy

Cooks.com has a recipe for butterscotch meringue pie. I have never made it but my grandmother use to make a butterscotch pie with meringue that was wonderful. I use cooks.com a lot when I need a recipe.
