CAKE EXPERTS: I need your help!

My daughter's first birthday is in 4 weeks. I am planning a water/beach theme. I would like to make a cake that relates. I can remember coming across a cake recipe for a "sand" cake that included blue jello for the ocean, teddy grahams, crumbles for the sand... but now I don't know where I saw it. Not just a pool scene, but not just a sand castle-a beach scene. Any ideas, recipes, pictures, help??? Thanks!!!!
