Thanksgiving great pumpkin dessert mmmmm

my grandmother used to make this.. now I do.. and im sharing it with you.. :)

1 pkg spice cake mix
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 container (8 ounces) frozen nondairy whipped topping, thawed, divided
2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant vanilla pudding
1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin
1 ½ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 cup milk
Additional pumpkin pie spice

make spice cake mix according to pkg. seperate the mixture into 1 deep baking dish 9x 13. and 1 9x 13 baking dishes.

let cool completely.

Using a mixer, blend together cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and ½ of whipped topping until smooth.
Spread this mixture evenly over the cake in the deep dish pan..

carefully take the other cake out of the baking dish and place on top of the cream cheese mixure press down softly and carefully.

Combine pudding mix, pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice and milk.

Whisk until well blended and layer top cake..

Carefully spread remaining whipped topping over pumpkin.

Lightly sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice.

Refrigerate several hours or until set.

Makes about 9 to 12 servings depending on who loves it most lol in our house its enought to feed 4-5 with teenage boys..LOL
