Good for you. Our federal are done. We won't file until the last day possible. This is our first year of being VA residents, so we have to also pay state taxes for the first time since being married.

On the bright side - our church is going to offer the Dave Ramsey FPU course this summer. We didn't do it last time it was offered, I'm hoping dh is more open to it this time.

Also I may have a summer job, that will help.

Since dd's wedding is in 2 weeks, I doubt I will post much between now and then.We leave this Saturday to head down. Once the wedding is over we can get back to saving money - I hope.

We did are taxes this yr and getting a good tax return back! The reason we usually get a good one is hubby works tons of work time or they over tax us. Instead of going out and blowing tax return we will be using the entire return to pay 5600 in full for pre K next yr. My son will be going 7 to 5 5 days a wk. No I don't work but we send him for soical and to be ready for K. We calucate and with food and verything included in pre K full time only came to xtra 100 bucks a month.

It really feels good paying preschool in full with tax return! It will be 1 less thing to pay for next yr. Plus it is the best preschool around. my son has been going to preschool since he was 2 yrs old. They even start to learn to read and write all numbers and letters. I am finally feeling in control of my money. I feel like I would rather do this then have a new car I could care less about.

So, I pulled my credit reports and am going to attempt to settle some of these debts... How do I go about doing that? Do I write them?
