Ive done it. Try your local flea market. Ive found the profit to be much better than a garage sale, CL and Ebay (no b.s.)

Feel free to PM me with any questions.

IDK about making money off the coupons themselves.

Unless you can get big batches of each, I don't see a big profit in it.
I don't mean, selling the coupons I mean selling the items I got from couponing :)

Why can't you resell stuff you get at the commissary? And yes I bought some of it at the commissary and some at walmart and target.

2 Summers ago Dh, the kids and I were planning a mini vacation. I needed some extra funds and so I decided to dip into my over abundant amounts of stock piled items and through them in my yard sale. I did very well. The hot items were shampoos, body washes, men's, women's and babies. I also had some diapers that I was not using due to a MC that year. I also sold a lot of maxi pads and tampons. Vitamins and razors were good sellers too. My make up didn't sell as I wished it would have could be everyone's colors differ from what I had to offer. ( Not sure) Candles and plug in stuff when really fast. I love to get them cheap but after so many ear infections I decided to eliminate them from our home. ( After reading and article) It can be done I have posted things on craig's list with no calls at all. I do have some items I would love to get rid of I paid very little oop and was able to get $$ back after a rebate or something so I am not out any money but it does drive me nuts to have something I know some one can use somewhere just not sure where to go with it. I am sure if all else fails for me selling certain things I can take them to a shelter center or something so certain items wouldn't expire and not be used at all. I wish you luck it can be done but does take alot of time and effort and not to mention room to store all the stuff until you can and do sell it.. Keep this in mind too :)

The commissary (and exchange) specifically prohibit reselling. The commissary is a benefit to help the military families.

As for the Target, Wal-Mart, etc., stuff - go for it.

Do you live near Englishtown?? That flea market is huge. DH and I were stationed in Colts Neck & always drove down to Englishtown to shop (I wasn't into couponing there - or I would've sold stuff there).

I do my local flea market every other Sunday during high-season and do pretty good. Not enough to retire, but enough to support our "habits" (dining out, Disney World, etc).
Looking to stockpile fresh meats (no hormones, no additives, no nitrates, no preservatives)? Cooked, peeled, deveined 31/40 count Shrimp $5.99/lb, Cooked, grill-marked Chicken Breast Strips $2.89/lb. Interested? Click here to find out more!!

It's against their store policy. I know it is posted here somewhere. Let me see if I can find it. No. But I have PMed the mod from the commissary and hopefully she'll set it straight.

Don't bother to try eBay. If you are not already selling items on eBay, new sellers now get their PayPal funds held for 21 days or until the delivery confirmation shows delivered. To list for buy it now fees start at 50 cents a listing and up depending on how you list it. Once the item sells you then get charged a final value fee for the price of your sale plus the shipping cost. This is about 12% of the total value that eBay takes. Shipping is not cheap and usually is around $3 for lighter stuff but heavy items can go up to $10 plus. Then PayPal takes a cut out of the money too for their fees. Auctions go pretty low for these types of items too. They also restrict how many listing for razors new buyers can do because razors are a high risk category. (lots of people steal them and then sell on eBay)

In the end you either break even or make a small profit and it is not worth the hassle.

I have sold extra stockpile before.
    My highest yardsale was 5000.00.
Sounds like a lot, but it was too much work so we haven't done it in a while. Now everyone is stockpiling and I can't sell like I use too.
Also check out the auction houses. I have sold there too. They normally charge 5 to 20% of what you sell.
Heard about people taking tote bags of hba to work and selling it too.

My prices were 1/3 to 1/2 of walmart. Razors, shampoo, body wash and air freshener stuff sells well. Make up is a iffy item. Sometimes it sells and sometimes it doesn't.
    I used 2048 q's FEB 2011 because of SFShopper ,,,offline,,,,,alot!

The queen of April Fools was here. ,,,< I like it so it stays
