We've been doing fairly well this month as well. Still can't convince DH to pay off the truck early but as of now he hasn't made any new big purchases so at least thats a start LOL.

okay, so that didn't last long...

DH decided that he needed a new to him - used car
so now we have another car payment
    $7.xx in savings
and over $1000.00 on the credit card.

He just sees the tax return and his bonus in the Spring,
and thinks it will work itself out

no wonder I am going grey

I know that feeling! DH finally decided maybe he should pay the truck off early. But then in the last week we have gone on a spending spree (I say we only because he had me go pick up one of the big things he wanted so technically I was involved there). I have no idea if he will actually pay the truck off early now or not.

I've been trying to work a bit of OT when I can. I signed up for quite a bit the week before Christmas because that will come on the first paycheck in January and I wanted to start the New Year off right with a bit of extra money.

Doing okay this month on the budget. Gas prices are creeping down a bit and that will help. I have done really good this fall with cutting down on driving too. Because of skiing and a few little extra end of year expenses, I am pretty tight for the holidays. At least my son is old enough to understand why we won't be doing a lot for Christmas this year.
