Thankfully the credit cards are still below 50% of their limits. I need to get back to it now.

    AUGUST
Car : Beginning balance $10,340.00 - This week I brought the balance to $9,240.98
    Credit Card #1 : Beginning balance $1887.00 - Limit $1905.00 - This week I bought balance down to $940.71
    Credit Card #2 : Beginning balance $1078.00 - Limit $1,100.00 - This week I brought balance down to $513.64
    Credit Card #3 : Beginning balance $484.00 - Limit $700.00 - This week I brought balance down to $173.42
Credit Card #4 : Beginning balance $121.00 - Limit $1,000.00 - Used for dental emergency. This week I brought the balance to $400.00.
Credit Card #5 - Beginning balance $32.87 - Limit $1,000.00 - Used it last month and paid it off to $0.00.

On a good note, I got some of the medical credtors off my back by having them re-bill my insurance and I got a deposit back from the gas/electric company for having good payment history.
Falling off the wagon happens! The hard part is getting back on. You can do it.

If it were me, I would put the paid off credit card, #5, into a drawer, desk, box. Somewhere I won't be tempted to use it. Then I would focus on CC #4, since that balance is soooo low. It's under $200! You can have that paid off in no time. And once you accomplish that- put CC #4 in the same box/drawer as #5. Then move on to another card.

Do you do anything like surveys or yard sales? Any extra cash will make this go so much faster and it will cut down the time that you are tempted to use these cards! Make it a goal to post in here once a week or once every other week for more accountability! We're all cheering for you!

I'm sooo stagnate with my progress, but happy that I'm keeping my credit card balances below 50% of their available credit limits.
I better pay off cards #3 and #4 next month so I feel like I'm accomplishing something.
