The interest paid on my credit card last month = $1.59!! It used to be over $40/month a few years ago.

TOTAL *FINANCE CHARGE* BILLED IN 2011 $177.98
Total interest charged in 2010 $395.99 !!! Yikes!

Hopefully it will be under $10 for the whole year of 2012.

My Visa's limit was raised +$2500 this week (without my consent/approval). Why, oh why, do they do that sort of thing when you almost have them paid off? Do they think I will run out and charge up $x,000's?

Discover did that to me last month. I paid that card off and a few weeks later got a letter in the mail telling me they raised my credit limit. The good thing is it helped boost my credit score a few digits. :) Your Visa is almost gone!!! That's completely awesome!

Maybe Visa raised my limit b/c I haven't activated the new cards I received in the mail a month ago....

I'm thinking about cancelling our Netflix, its only $5 a month, but I can get movies from the library for free. They keep sending me emails about the credit card on file being expired.

I think we can live without it.

Emergency Fund goal $2,000: $650

Not much to report. I am still waiting on my 1099 so I can file our taxes. We are expecting a refund I will use to bump up our Emergency fund and other savings.

You're doing great! That Visa debt is almost gone. We haven't filed our taxes yet. Need to get on that. ;)
