Congrats and let us know when the baby is here!
Well, the tax refund came and we changed our minds about fixing the windows on DH's car, we talked to the dealership that we'll trade his car into, and they'll give us mid blue book for it (when we trade it in in about a year and get him a new-er/ish car), which, is just a few hundred more than it would cost to get the windows fixed. Plus, the windows are stuck in the "up" position, so it's not all bad, just annoying.
We put that money into savings, and paid $1k on my car. We socked the rest away, since we got a lot of stuff at the shower that I wasn't expecting to get.
We're saving all our pennies for when I go on maternity leave.

Well, the only thing left is the car payment approx. $10k.
I'm leaving my job on Friday to stay home to take care of the baby (with the cost of gas and day care, I would be bringing home about $600/month- NO THANKS!).
We're also moving in the next 2 months to a cheaper apartment/rental. Our rent was raised again and we don't live in a very good neighborhood. The saved $$ will be split 50/50 between savings and the balance of the car note.
My overall goal is to have the car paid off by the end of next year.

Ok, here's an update. Since staying home, our bill pay down has slowed. DH just got a raise 2 weeks ago, so, that's going to help a lot.
$8k left on the car. Credit cards are all paid off.
I've been selling a lot of stuff on Craigslist to bring in extra $$ for stockpiling and I'm doing a lot of rebating.
