One brand I found online is Bob's Red Mill. I know several of my stores carry this in the natural food area(the brand at least). I have no idea if you will be able to find the xanthan gum or not. though.
Hi
I am trying to find out where I can buy this and generally how much it is per per container.
I can't have glutenl. I have been able to find a different aray of flours and am making some of my own.
I don't have a trader joes or whole foods. Is this something that can be found in a reg. grocery store but a big grocery store. I was able to find a lot of my flours at TOPS MARKETS but for the life of me couldnt find the xanthan gum. Maybe i missed it.
Do you guys have a good place that you feel is reputable and safe online?
Any help is great!
Katrina

Stores here all have "natural foods" sections where they keep the gluten free flours and that is where I find xanthan gum. Mine generally keep it with the sugar substitutes and such since it comes in a bottle most of the time.
I buy the now foods xanthan gum, it is available on amazon a little cheaper than I can buy it for locally.
After a little research I found a natural food store around here. She has an 8oz (not sure of the brand yet) container for $13.49. I will be buying that one, so I have in time for Christmas dinner, but I think after that I will be shopping online.
Thanks for all the help. I searched and search in both of my big grocery stores and couldnt find it. They had Gluten free stuff in two sections, also checked the natural sugar/baking area and couldnt find any...I live in a very very little area so I figured I wouldnt have much luck, but thought i would try. I am just happy to have found so many differen flours. My hubby bought me a coffee grinder that is working awesomely for grinding my rice.
