Default Pots & Pans priced reasonably

We've adopted a family at work. The single mother of three is asking for pot & pans, among other things. So I'm looking for something suitable for her without blowing my whole budget. I don't want to spend more than $75.

Any suggestions for a small, inexpensive but fair quality set?

Most all your lower priced sets are going to be Chinese made. I avoid such products at all costs...but....perhaps a set of Wearever might not be too bad. I'd go for stainless steel, not aluminum, and no non-stick. That stuff is crap. Would last longer if it's not non-stick.

None of my current ads have anything helpful to me for price range, so not sure of the cost of those.

I have a used stainless steel Revereware that is awesome - I have used it for 15 years and it looks exactly the same as the day I bought it for $15.00 at a yard sale!

As for non stick I got three very shallow frying pans (a small, a medium and a large) from Walmart for $19.97 - I like the non stick for eggs and stuff - I think if your VERy careful to never use metal on them they are good.

There are so many choices when it comes to pots and pans!! and price points. Marshalls TJ maxx and Homegoods always have an aisle full.
