My son is saving up to buy one...I know very little about these. 4GB or 250 GB and why? Best price out there? How important is an extended warranty? What about controllers or unanticipated costs?

4gb if he doesnt want to do alot of online gaming.. it runs $199.

the 250gb is ( I think) $250 or higher and can do it all.

We bought our son just hte 4 last year for xmas and it is still working great, he can do some online gaming with it and watch movies, but its not super fast.
