Ck with your local printing shop and ask them for there misprints
My son's Pre-k after care program is already out of drawing paper. I need to find a source for cheap paper. It could be misprinted letter head or just poor quality paper that is cheap. Anything will work. It is just for the little ones to draw/scribble on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Walmart or dollar store has cheap paper. That is horrible that your son class is already out of paper. It sounds like my daughter charter school. They start asking for more stuff within a month of school starting. Last yr I donated about 200.00 dollars worth of stuff. This yr I have cut down on my donating things.my son pre k 3 class as christian school never ask for anything on the other hand. I will prob donate more stuff to classes soon though. Every yr at my son christian school you have to pay a resource fee of 100.00. This fee give the teacher about 1200 to spend on supplys she needs. We will also spend another 100.00 on xtra on list. I feel the xtra 100 bucks I give school is worth it for kids to have supplys they need. I also will give school another 100 dollar registration fee. Plus this yr I pay 35.00 for lunches 3 days a wk Then I pay another 400 a month for school 3 days a wk. Yes it is expensive but worth every penny. My son is only 3 and they are writting letters and numbers and doing so much more.
If it's just to scribble on, can you find an office that has a recycle bin and see if they wouldn't mind you emptying there bins a couple times a week until you get enough for the kiddos? My hubby brings his recycled paper home for me and I also reuse my DD's homework papers to print coupons on.
What about the elementary or high schools in your area - they may have a recycle bin too you could invade.
Try churches too they may have old flyers from activities that have passed that they can get rid off.
Try the thrift stores - I was in mine and they had paper, binders and even computer accessories(woo hoo - got me a 5 in 1 USB set works great!!)
Hospitals - recycle bin. Recycle center - they may let you raid their coffers.
Try Office Depot, Office Max, or supply store. Mine has school supplies 50% off sale price and if you have points from their rewards program could net you some free supplies.
College - recycle bin.
Thank you to the Queen for leaving her mark!!
Newspaper end rolls come to mind. Our local newspaper advertises them for .50 to $1.00 each, but I don't know how much paper that is though
Thank you all for taking the time to respond.
officemax has 10 ream cases for 9.99 a lot of times. 5000 sheets
Hello. Bless you for looking for paper for the children. I suggest also to post on Craigslist or Freecycle for possible donations. I wish you were close to me in central, IL, as I would have tons to give you. As a retired teacher (K), I saved all misprints and also had a school librarian who saved for me also. I would also ask a paper recycling company if they would have some to give you. This is providing that a company like this is near you. Also, newpaper cut into normal size paper can be used when children use markers to draw. Also, junk mail envelopes can be used for self-created pictures. Open and flattened out the junk mail envelopes
Hope this gives you an idea. Also, I would post the paper wants in grocery stores, etc. Marcia(IL)
