Mentos gum $1/1 up2u pack

Where are you guys finding the best deal on these packs? With the $1/1, I am hoping to find it for free somewhere. Dollar General was a guess, but I haven't checked it out yet. Any ideas?

Locally, we have Kroger, HyVee, Wal-Mart, Dollar General, Walgreens, CVS, KMart.

Ok...tried the Walgreen's deal. Brought the two packs of gum to the counter with Wags Q and two Manu Qs. Scanned the Wags Q first, then one MQ, but the second MQ wouldn't scan leaving the total at $1.20.

I asked her to try the two MQs first and the Wags Q last, and that way brought it down to $0.70. HOWEVER, the computer changed the value of the Wags Q down to $0.50 instead of the $1.

Any ideas?

the gum is also 1.49 @ the store I bought them. I gave the $1/1 first and then scanned the IVC, no beeps. I had other items in the trxn to absorb the .01 overage since I only bought 1.

if you give the IVC first, it'll give $1 discount for 2 packs so when you give 2 MQs, the register will read it as exceeding the sale price whether or not you have items in your trxn to absorb the .02 overage after scanning the $1 IVC.

try it with MQ first and other items in your trxn and see if it works.

I tried it both ways actually. The first time with the WAGS Q first. The second time, I gave the manu Qs first. The only difference is that I just bought the gum. It may have worked with other items in my trxn, but I just never know about our Wags. Their rules are always different than the rest of the WAGS.
