Have you tried doing this at allrecipes.com? They have ingredient searches for things you want and/or don't want. I love that site.
hello all,
I am not sure where to post this but move it if I'm in the wrong....basically I am looking for a website where I can type in a couple of items on sale this week (items I am getting great deals on) that will give me recipe ideas....I know I have seen this posted about from time to time but not lately....and not sure in which forum but it would be a real lifesaver for us right now~
TIA

Supercook.com gives you recipes for items you have on hand. It gets data from all the major recipie sites and steers you in the right direction. Give it a try as I know that I have used it many a time when I dint get a chance to go to the store and need to come up with dinner for a family of 6. Good luck :)
I like allrecipes.com and food.com

I love allrecipes.com and I love the app on my iphone even more. It's great to have in hand when at the store and you still have not clue what to cook. I can just open it up and pick up what I need.

I agree with the allrecipes.com votes. I'm a premium member, and it's worth every penny! You can search by nutritional value, calories, fat content, etc. The ingredient search is an awesome tool, coupled with the menu planning tool available on premium accounts takes all of the guesswork out of cooking!
Nothing too profound to say....
