Deals on laptops EMERGENCY!!!

Hey, I am IVDSO a laptop/netbook. We want to pay less than $250. I've posted to everyone that I am moving. My parent's are headed to FL and I'm staying here in TN. I need to find a computer before they leave (on Sept. 6th, mom's putting it on her credit card) I don't care about the memory or the hard drive (I'm only using it for gmail, HCW and use of a webcam) It has to have a webcam or she won't buy it. (She wants to be able to see my 3 year old and Krissa to be able to see her.) It needs WiFi because I'll be connecting through a friends network about 500 feet away from the new house. I'd like to get a brand new computer! I have Walmart (they have one for $248), Staples, Kmart, Walgreens, CVS, Target (it's an hour away from us...mom doesn't want to spend the gas unless it's a killer deal!) PLEASE HELP ME FIND A CHEAP COMPUTER!!!! If I don't get it within the next 4 days I won't be able to sty connected to my HCW friends. I can buy it online and have it shipped or in store. PLEASE PM ME THANKS!!!!

If there is a Fry's near you, try there for a netbook. I know that isn't on your list, but that's where we find out best deals. We got basically a netbook for $220 last spring which has actually a fairly decent webcam. Other than that, I'd say just run through Target and Walmart and see what they have. This is a bad time as the kids are just heading off to school. If you can't find one with a webcam, just get the best you can find for that price, then check around at Walmart, Target, and Big Lots. We got a really cheapie webcam for my daughter for $9 at Big Lots. It works well enough and hey, if they kiddo gets wild showing grandma how she can pitch and knocks it off...you can get another one for $9!
