    Default Printer Ink

Has anyone researched the best source for printer ink? I tried looking online, but the prices seem to be similar to Office Depot with a coupon. These are so expensive that I would love to cut costs in this area!

I order my ink jet cartridges online from EnviroInks.com.

They're very quick and have a wonderful customer service department if you have any problems or questions.

You can also earn rewards by referring friends, sending back the cartridges or refilling certain brands buy from them.

I ordered one cartridge so far from 123inkjets.com that was "Lexmark-compatible" rather than an actual Lexmark brand cartridge at a significantly cheaper price (~$8 vs ~$30!) and that worked out great for me. However, Staples has such a good rewards program that I'm tempted to go with them in the long term.

Have you tried refilling them yourself? Waaaay cheaper if you have one that can be refilled. I have a Canon IP printer and I buy refills at Staples for $20 for 3 bottles of black and one bottle of cleaner. It lasts over a year and that's with kids printing homework, me printing coupons, etc.
