Does anyone know off hand where it is a good deal or cheap right now to buy either ensure or boost? A friend of mine's sister has cancer and her chemo is kicking her butt and I have a ton of coupons for ensure and will be getting a few on boost but I want to match them up to either a good sale or the best price out there. I live at the Jersey Shore. Any advise will be greatly appreciated

Could really use some good deals on Ensure for an elderly relative on limited income. The only current deal I can see is $6.99/6-pack at Walgreens (09/18 - 09/24) and I have no idea whether this is a good price. Available stores would be WAG, CVS, Publix, Target, WalMart, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Big Lots, Albertsons, Winn Dixie.

The registered dietician at the local hospital here has said many times over the years that Carnation Instant Breakfast does very well as a substitute for Boost or Ensure. It is much cheaper, comes in several flavors and there are always coupons available. I think I remember her saying that it actually has less sugar but I can't swear by that. The powdered form can be mixed with soy milk to increase the protein too.

There also is a current Try-Me-Free offer out for Ensure, I believe it can be found as a tearpad - you may want to check the trading forums to see if anyone has any. It is valid on an Ensure 4-pack up to $10.00 (minimum price is $6.97). It's valid for purchases made from 10/1/10 through 11/30/11 and it is limit 1 per household. You may be able to trade for couple forms and then if you have other family or friends who are also buying for your relative, every household can get a 4-pack for just the postage and any tax that you might be charged.

Here's some more info about it: http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums...re-4-pack.html

    Hope this helps!
I will only be online every few days, so I may be a bit slow to respond.
