HELP does anyone remember those plastic lids for 12 ounce soda cans..? and where to find them..?

There used to be plastic snap on lids for "open but not empty" 12 ounce soda cans, to preserve the carbonation.

Do they still make those and where can they be bought?

They have a new version of those & you can find them at Walgrens in the "as seen on tv" type section. I want to say they are like 9.99. They turn your can into a twist top bottle kind of device that fits onto the top of your can. Hth.

I would suggest Lillian Vernon, not sure they have them but they have all kinds of things like that!

They sell this bottle type top for cans at gas stations and convenience stores as well. The ones around here in gas stations aren't $9.99, they're significantly cheaper. Good luck, I hope you find what you're looking for!!

I bought some at BBB during christmas. Haven't been back there since so I can't tell you if they still have them.

My Walmart has a 10pk of colored ones by the batteries on the front end near the registers....not sure if all Walmarts are set up this way. But they are by the register that sells the cigarettes here.

I saw some like these at CVS: Amazon.com: Snap & Guzzle Spill Proof Can Topper (Color Will Vary): Home & Garden

I think they were a multipack though.

I think there are like 8 to a package for that price or something - it's a multiple of some sort.

I like them but one thing I thought about when I saw them in a commercial. Unless you clean the lid of the soft drink completely before using it, the soft drink will wash over the top of the can when it's used.

I hate drinking out of cans because you never know what has crawled over them

But if the top of the can was washed well before using those new ones, I think they are the best alternative type cap I've seen
