    Default Compaq Laptop Battery

    Please help me find a deal on a battery. DD left a glass of water next to the laptop, lid open, and the cats found it. Everything dried out ok, but we now have very short battery life.
    Any help appreciated.

    Try Ebay. I've never purchased the actual battery there, but I have had two battery chargers go to crap in the past 4 years that I've owned this laptop and both times I got a brand new charger for a fraction of the cost of what it would have cost elsewhere. Good luck!

    I just bought a battery off of Ebay for our Dell laptop. This is the second battery we have bought for it. The first we bought from Dell and it was $200, this time we went with Ebay, $28 with shipping. It should be here in a day or two, hopefully it will be as good as the dell battery.
